HOW TO RAID
Shuffle the deck
Shuffle all expansion cards with the green expansion icon into the deck. shuffle the 14 hero cards face down and allow each player to select one at random. Any remaining heroes may be placed back in the box. Also determine which player will be acting as the Raid Master.
Deal out the cards
All players acting as heroes are dealt 7 cards each, the Raid Master is dealt 10 cards. The Raid Master's turn is always first. Players always draw 1 card at the start of their turn, while the Raid Master draws 1 card at the start of a minion's turn and 2 cards at the start of a demi-boss's or a boss's turn. The game will always begin with a clock-wise rotation for turns.
Each player starts the game with 25 health points (hp). Each player will use a health tracker card and a health token to keep track of their individual health. Minions. Demi-bosses, and Bosses have varying hp which can be located on the bottom left corner of each card.

SETTING UP A RAID
The first raid
In all raids (except the first, which does not have a demi-boss) there are three phases: Minion phase, demi-boss phase, and boss phase. Each phase is complete the moment all enemies are defeated. When a phase ends, the game pauses so the Raid Master can introduce the next phase. When the game resumes its now the Raid Masters turn.
GAME MECHANIC CHANGES
Slay Your Enemies utilizes all the cards found in Slay Your Friends. Including cards that specify that they target "The next player" or "The previous player" but in this game mode you ignore these texts as any weapon can target any enemy.
ENDING A RAID
Congratulations you've cleared your first raid! Each raid has three mythical items that become unlocked after defeating the boss. The Raid Master takes these items and shuffles them facing down. Which ever hero struck the finishing blow to the boss randomly selects an item. From here the party decides which hero should claim the item. Don't get greedy, think about who you give each item to!
STARTING THE NEXT RAID
In the event of a hero's death the player is removed from the raid. In between the end of a raid and the beginning of the next raid, any and all players may sacrifice up to 5 health points each to revive a fallen hero. The total amount of sacrificed health points are added to the fallen hero's health points.
Before the next raid all players must discard down to 7 cards in their hands and the Raid Master discards their entire hand. Shuffle the discard pile into the deck and begin the new raid!
FATE IS DECIDED
There are only two ways Slay Your Enemies may end: Either all of the heroes have fallen, or all five raids have been completed.
